Story Time at ThorpeWood

When: 10:00 am – 11:30am
Tickets: $5 per child, ages 2 to 5

Join ThorpeWood's youngest friends each month for a morning of stories, crafts and nature-related activities. Storytime is held from 10:00am – 11:30am on the 3^rd Thursday of most months. Open to children 2-5 years of age.

Third Annual 5K/10K Trail Walk & Run!
Sunday, September 5, 2010
When: 8:00 am – 10:00 am

$10 (all ages) for 5K Walk
Day of Event
$20 (all ages) for 10K Run
$15 (all ages) for 5K Walk

Proceeds to benefit ThorpeWood's at-risk youth programs

Please join us for our 3^rd Annual Trail Walk & Run! Sign-in will begin at 7:30 am at the barn. The course is scenic and winds through our trail system. The 5K Fun Run/Walk is one complete lap around the area that encompasses Stoney Lick Farm, the Pine Forest, and other wooded trails. The 10K Run will consist of two laps, and will be timed. The paths are well marked for the run/walk and there will be three water stations: two along the course and one at the finish line.

Please join us for an outdoor concert the whole family will enjoy! Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and get cozy at our Horse Pavilion to listen to the fantastic folk sounds of Bob Sima on guitar, and the nostalgic stories of Going Home read by Mary Batson. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch or snacks.

Proceeds to benefit ThorpeWood's at-risk youth programs

You're invited to ThorpeWood's 2^nd Annual Mountain Memories Fundraising Dinner! This year ThorpeWood is celebrating 10 years on the mountain. Guests are invited to come and enjoy great food by Canapés (and a guest chef!) and listen to live music performed by renowned pianist Elizabeth Borowsky! There will also be a chance to bid on items in a silent auction or participate in a raffle, or live auction. As always, proceeds will benefit ThorpeWood's at-risk youth programs.
The night skies are magical at ThorpeWood, so far away from the city lights. We hope that you will join us for this special event.
