ThorpeWood's Secondary Growth Partnernships for Youth Our Partnership with the
Washington Jesuit Academy
What is Secondary Growth?
ThorpeWood is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of youth. We do this by partnering with regional organizations to provide customized programs which meet specific identified student needs. We refer to these partnerships as
Secondary Growth.
Our Secondary Growth partnership with the Washington Jesuit Academy (WJA) provides two-year interventions in the lives of their 7th and 8th grade boys. Our programs expand upon the lessons of manhood and leadership the boys learn at WJA. They visit ThorpeWood for a total of 16 days and 10 nights over the two years, where they participate in manhood and leadership retreats.
