ThorpeWood is a unique mountain destination where individuals and groups experience growth opportunities through specially designed educational programs, corporate retreats, and private events.

We serve students from throughout the region including Baltimore, Washington, DC, and Frederick and Washington Counties (MD).

Our beautiful 155-acre mountain retreat offers a tranquil setting in which our students engage in learning and thrive. We also use our facility and "green construction" timber frame lodge for year 'round corporate retreats, weddings, community events, and learning opportunities for children and adults. Support for our education programs is provided by a combination of resources including foundation grants, donations by generous contributors, and revenues from event use of ThorpeWood's facilities.
